I have an iPhone 15 and have the full lineup of watch, iPad, MacBook etc and generally enjoy all of them but I am a wee but stale with years of iPhones. I love the idea of the Fairphone running e/os but don’t know how well all the services interact.

I use Apple Music and News+ but the latter is only on iPad for me. Fitness+ is nice but I barely use it so would have no issue switching the watch out for a Garmin or something.

Wondered if anyone else had paired up iPads, MacBooks etc with an Android phone and what their experience was like?

Kinda miss the old days where I would be able to change phones every couple of years and they felt/looked different.

AirPods work great on Android. Just make sure you have them configured how you want (like the touch and squeeze actions) because you can’t change them.

An alternative to AirDrop is LocalSend, but it has a massive asterisk: you must be on the same WiFi network. But I think you can start a hotspot on your phone and connect your other device to that and it should work.

Other than that, I’m not sure I’m qualified to answer for other stuff. In general I stick to cross platform apps and in general find continuity features more annoying than helpful.

Hey thanks for the reply, good to know! The sound quality on my AirPods Pro are amazing but I would maybe get different ones in future anyhow so not a dealbreaker.
